    Which one is better?

    1GB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 4650

    or a 512 mb nvidia geforce 9600 gt

    The reason I ask is because I might have to replace my laptop if hp cant fix it. So which one is better?

    I guess ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 1GB is much superior than Nvidia GF 9600M GT 512MB.

    is your a hp a laptop because if it is then mobile graphics is the only thing it can be put in the laptop that why its called mobile graphics...but anyways both of those card are mobile graphics cards....and performance wise the ati mobility radeon hd 4650 is much better than 9600m gt......................................... :)

    If you want to install a graphic card to your laptop, only MOBILITY type graphic cards are allowed only.
    Reason? Because it is a laptop. You can't put a desktop graphic card to it.
    Moreover, desktop graphic cards are very large. I don't think it can fit into a laptop.

    I dont remember but it was just someone who said that. So the ATI one should be better for graphics like games right?
