    I heard that the 570m is based off the 8600 gt. But, which delivers higher graphics power?

    They're the same card, the Quadro series is just optimized for workstation purposes.

    From a hardware standpoint yes, but the drivers can make a world of difference. There are ways of manipulating your laptop into thinking it has the gaming equivalent and running the gaming version of the drivers on your workstation GPU.
