    Which is better? 8600M GS or GT?

    Apologies for my ignorance, but which laptop card is better? Only difference I see on NVIDIA.com in the specs is that the core and shader clock speed is higher for the GS. Does that mean the GS is better?

    The GS may have faster clocks, but the GT has more pipelines and shader units so it pulls ahead by a fair margin.

    Yes. GS will support DX10 under Windows Vista only (I believe).
