As the title up there says...
-
nVidia's Turbocache is a better solution than ATi's Hypermemory.
-
erm, what's the point here?
People usually buy video cards not memory technologies. Nvidia and Ati make comparable cards... -
Turbocache is better but not so much that it should dictate which card for you to get, as long as the cards in question are equal in other areas i.e the Go7400 and X1400, 7600 and X1600, etc.
-
I mean for equivalent cards, like X1600 256 MB w/ 512 MB HyperMemory vs. Go 7400/Go 7600 256 MB w/ 512 MB Turbocache... Which 256MB-shared-add-on that really boost the standard performance? (Of course, any dedicated 512 MB would be still the best here...)
-
The x1600 is about 2x as fast as the 7400, and roughly equal to the 7600.
Look at the GPU Guide. -
The 7600 does not use turbocache
-
yes it does
-
Lol! vespolia why are you still a newbie, i mean look at your posts!
-
Only some variants of them do, not all of them.
-
your both right how bout that
-
According to Nvidias spec site the 7600go does not use turbo cache at all. It doesnt say some models or all it says none.
Which is better : HyperMemory or TurboCache?
