    XPS 1530 with NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8600M GT or dv6500 with NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8400M GS.... which does better with games??? like the new games...graphics heavy ones like call of duty 4 o something??? or is there some other models in the same category which you would like to recommend???

    Definitely the XPS 1530, especially since that 8600 variant has the GDDR3 memory. If you can wait and live either in the United States or Europe 15" models with the new 8800 nvidia card will trump both the XPS and HP PCs in gaming performance.
