    Here's what I'm looking at:

    Left 4 Dead
    Dead Space
    Bioshock

Here are the PC Games I enjoy:
CS:S, DoD:S, TF2, and Call of Duty series.

I love multiplayer - a lot. I guess Left 4 Dead would be the no brainer however I get this feeling that people are luke warm to online? I also tried out the demo and although there was a lot of o0o0 and ahhh, I got a sense that the game might get stale quickly. But that's just going by the short sp mode.

So if you don't think mp for Left 4 Dead is going to hold my attention long - which of the other 2 would you suggest?

    Thanks.

well considering that the only game on your list w/ multiplayer is left4dead, i'd have to go with that.

Agreed with L4D, that's the way to go.
Bioshock rocks, but I personally found it to short and with little to no inclination to replay it through.
I've never played Dead Space to comment on it.

Seeing as all the games you like to play have strong online multiplayer then I guess you would want Left 4 Dead

just finished playing dead space on my 360, its awesome but it will be a little shallow. i like my halo 3 and gears 2 online and play that the most. i think l4d will be the best for u. bioshock was fun when it came out (like uber fun) but now its is kinda of ehhhhhhh.... wait for bioshock 2.

Bioshock was a game i wanted so bad, i got it when it came out, and then, i beat it, liek z0mg! but then, its just.. well, bioshock..

Deadspace is almost the same, its VERY good, VERY adrenaline-pumping, and you just have to play it a couple of times to just say... eh... Dead Space was cool!, but... I didnt find another replay value after the 2nd pass...

Left 4 Dead - Havnt played it yet, but heard wonderful things about it. and, it just speeds past deadspace + bioshock for the simple reason of multiplayer.

so, my veredict: Left 4 Dead.

    Bioshock IS epic.
But the more you play it, its epicness is worn down.

Kinda like the Metroid Prime series, they're EPIC, the concept, the art, the planning, the mood! EPIC.

But I don't play them anymore, they're in their respective cases... :)

I would say the COMPLETE opposite. If you want a game that gets boring before you get half way through get Bioshock. If you want a game where you actually have to be good and use your brain go for Left 4 Dead. Super hard to do at its hardest level with 4 players... so much fun.

left 4 dead is your best bet for playability. it forces you to work as a team, otherwise you'll lose very bad.

and when i mean forces you to work as a team, i really mean it. there are instances when me and my friends play, and one guy stays back for 5 seconds to heal, and in that 5 seconds we jump down into a manhole (with no possible way to get back up), and the other team grabs a hold of him and kills him. there was absolutely nothing we could do. you have to work together and do many things at the same exact time.

multiplayer in that game is always exiciting. the AI director is awesome in that it increases the difficulty while playing depending on how well you're doing. if you're breezing through the game, it will send it mobs of infected.

the multiplayer will be heavily modded once the SDK is released, and the game should also receive constant updates much like TF2, so prepare for many more maps. i think i read that leagues were even forming, like CAL, so you could probably just get MIRC and a group of friends and just scrim teams so you can go against more organized and more difficult people than in regular public games.
