Ps3 Desktop Clevo
RSX GPU 260Fx or whatever 9800M GT
3.2GHZ cell cpu i7 2.6Ghz T9600 2.6GHZ
I wasnt sure where to post this but i'll put it here. Also which performs better.
Clevo-D901C

well.... one cannot really compare a console system to a full fledged PC.
the PS3 does have a nice system for mainly games, bang for the buck...
- with multi-core CPU, Nvidia RSX (similar to a 7800GTX with 128-bit mem interface), HDD, Blu-ray, OS capable.
a good PC with at least a current 2.2GHz+, 4GB+ RAM, at least Nvidia 9800M/ATI 3870 should be able to play almost all current/new games at new and max settings.
the Clevo D901C is probably the fastest you can find with the Quad-core, SLI 9800M GTX, triple HDD -
Hmm the latest desktop tech vs. a notebook vs. a PS3? I'm not a rude guy, but you've got to be kidding me with this one.

the PC , both laptop and destop will run games better and with better details, however bang for the buck in pure gaming, PS3.

My question is which video card is better Nvidia RSX vs Nvidia 9800M gtx vs ATI 3870

You cannot use the custom 7800GTX(modified pipelines) without the Cell BE, they were meant to take the full load in almost equal halves. The Cell BE excells in A.I., Geometry collision/detection, Advanced physics/deferred rendering with the RSX, where as the RSX is the painter/sketcher/ renderer. The way they were custom designed, they were meant to work in tandem, Cell BE having access to the faster XDR ram, for accelerated floating point calculation. The PS3 is considered a specialized closed platform, where as PCs with the exception of java and unix based servers, are generalized consumer end computers. Hence PS3 clusters being used in place of bladed super computers, for advance medical research. It is my opinion that PCs and laptops excell at general purpose computing and API based gaming, whereas, the PS3 excells at parallel processing, and three dimensional geometry based calculations and rendering techniques. Have a look at killzone 2. I have been a PC gamer since way before the PS3 was even a twinkle in Sony's eye, and I will likely stay a PC faithful, because that is where it all began. In terms easier to undertsand, the PS3 by far has the most powerful CPU, so powerful in fact that it has intel and AMD closing down production lines that would have been, in order to follow suit....however they are very different architectures, the first type are in-line processors(traditional x86/x64/IA64/etc), and the other (Cell BE) is built on the fundamental theories of parallel processing. If the greatest minds from IBM, Toshiba, and Sony get together to plan the future of super-computer/server processors, what do you think they would come up with? In terms of the GPU, the RSX is probably the least powerful out of the lineup that you chose by itself.

out of those, desktop>clevo>PS3
terms of the video card in your second post:
9800M GTX > 3870 > RSX
Which of these has a better video card/CPU?
