    Which of these laptops will handle star wars the old republic the best?

    here's a list i've come up with :)

    1.acer i3 and nvidia 540m
    STAPLES | BUREAU EN GROS

    *the only problem with this laptop is that the screen is 13.3" and it throttles under heavy load but i read on overclock forums that you can use throttlestop to stop turbo boost which would would somewhat fix it


    2. acer a8-3500 and 6620G (512mb dedicated)

    *i like the samsung design overall compared to the acer's i linked

    my budget is around $500.00 to $550.00. i cant pass my budget so please don't suggest more expensive models.

    are these the best in this price range and which one is best for SWTOR?

    That samsung might be fine, although if you are not above using refurbished laptops- I can wholeheartedly suggest the HP Pavilion dv6-6135dx. IMO the best steal on a laptop right now.

    To be honest, if you want medium-high 1080p game settings for TOR, the only laptop in that list I think I would use for gaming is the Acer with the A8-3500 since that graphics solution is a bit weaker than a Radeon HD 5650M. With that said, the HP in USD is also not shabby and has a better build quality than the Acer in my honest opinion.

    The rest of the laptops you listed are way weaker GPU-wise than the Acer I mentioned or that HP 1rarebuy listed.
