Well, their preformance probably would be comparable. However, I would go for the Xpress 200m consideing that the 9200 is terribly outdated.
What notebooks are those? -

I'd say 200m, it's a more capable card than you might expect, includes newer shader support etc. and is flexible in the amount of ram it can use, in some cases up to 256mb.

thanks guys
PS: to answer the question above,,,this is for my dad, he does not need any thing super fast or dual core...The 200m is my laptop vaio k45 and the 9200 im looking at is the vaio s260 ultra light laptop -
i would go for the 200m then, it doesn't really make much heat, and the CPU and RAM would be more current too. the 9200 could heat things up and mess up battery life.

9200 would blow it away
not even a fair fight
200 m is not even more dx compatible, 9200 is dx 8
I dont know what everyone who answered this thread is smoking but its time to read about gpus and look at scores. -

If stamar managed to prove what he said, especially this " 200 m is not even more dx compatible", I would give him 100$
Otherwise, I would ask him "What are you smoking?" I mean I would like to try the same. -
Xpress 200.

The 9200 has a higher fillrate and that's about it. The Xpress 200 has pixel and vertex shaders (OMG!), and smaller nanometer for the dye so you can overclock better and it won't heat up as much, higher clocks, and 128 bit memory versus the 64 bit memory of the 9200.
Which one would be faster?
