    The desktop version of the ATI 5870? Except for Gygabite, which seems to have drawn some pretty bad reveiws, is the HIS version the lowest priced? Somebody must have these for sub-$400.

    Bronsky there is a sister site to notebookreview for desktops. Asking about desktop products in a notebook forum probably isn't as worthwhile as asking in one specialized for desktops.

    It's hovering right around $400 right now...still too pricey for me personally, but I will probably bite once they go sub-$350. Unless of course the GTX470 catches my attention first.
