I do. And until now it yields the highest framerates for me, esp when I use an app called " rthdribl". It doesn't have Ambient Occlusion, though, and I might eventually switch out to another driver or something..has anybody used a driver that performs better than this? I was just browsing through LV2G and looking into how many times a driver was downloaded, I was led to believe that the more people using a certain driver, the better it is..

I have the driver set to Performance btw.

I've used them before, as well at other DOX drivers, how do you find them compared to the 185.85's from DOX?

They gave me the best performace.

I'm currently on 186.81 nvidia stock.

    Still on Dox's 182.46 :)

I've tried other drivers, but the stability/temperature/FPS weren't as good.

I have a thing, that i must be up to date on drivers.. Im using 186.91 which isnt that new but apparently everything after it seems like crap, especially the 19x.xx series, so yeah. But those dox drivers are just too old for me, but i dont even know if the new drivers delivers better fps, lol...

Dox had retired from creating new Dox's Forceware.
19X.XX Forceware are mean for Desktop actually. LV2G just modded them for Notebooks only. So, it runs awful and lousy on Notebook generally. However, some(minority) claim 19X.XX Forceware are awesome.
186.XX Forceware are the BEST currently.
Basically, majority is running 186.81 due to it is official directly from Nvidia Website. Minority is running 186.42, 186.82 and 186.91 because they found that these drivers are better than 186.81 on their machines.
I used to be Dox Forceware User. I like the Dox's 185.85. It works great!
However, it can't beat the almightly Forceware 186.82 for my machine.

Actually, I use the official 195.39 Beta drivers for notebooks from NVIDIA, and I'm quite happy with the performance.

    Here's a link to the Windows 7 64-bit version.

The only issue I came across was that I had to use the Powermizer Switch to re-enable Powermizer. Quite effortless actually.

I used Dox 180.84, though they were slower than Tweakforce 180.84 that I am using even today. I get better framerates with the tweakforce 180.84 in SLI mode.

I recommend you to try 186.82. You will get the best of your GPU.

19x.xx = no brightness adjust for me... or well, from ultra dark to dark lol... and that's all of them so its a waste of time.

I guess 186.82 or 186.91 are the best for me too

185.85 was the best for me. 195.39 is quite hot in my system.

185.85 doesn't work with the m17x. the colors were washed out. 195.39 doesn't use sli well in the m17x either. very picky manchine. in my 9800m gtx was nvidia 182.06. the best driver i ever used. but again that doesn't work on the m17x.

I find that when I install new drivers sometimes either colors are washed out or too bright..reducing "Digital Vibrance" in NVIDIA Control panel does the trick though.

I was using 185.85 DOX before, and yep, they were great, but when I hopped into GTA IV I found that not only did DOX 180.84 boost my framerate in that game, it even upped my 3DMarks and FPS in different games!

I took 195.39 from LV2G last night, and running the said app at my OP, it gave me almost equal performance as with the 180.84..although it was about 40 less points as compared to the latter driver. (3DMarks, Shmi-DMarks.)

I'm gonna observed first, though, I just switched to Windows 7 and I just force-installed DOX 180.84 in it, so if the temps get tame, I'll still stay, but otherwise it's either the 195 or the 186.91.

@REB! I'll try that too, but I think I have already tried that before when I was still on 32-bit lol.
