I absolutely HATE keeping up with CDs/DVDs and keys...It's not so bad now that everything is on a DVD, but I can vividly remember the 5+ CD installs in early 2000 on games....absolutlely hated that...I have a 100 cd sleeve case just for games and keys.

I LOVE STEAM! Bring it on baby!

    Oh yea born in '84.

Western Digital has got a 640GB hard drive with some awesome performance and a low price ($120). I'm a Seagate man myself, but that is just an awesome drive.

If we move to ternary computing (using -1,0,1 or 0,1,2 instead of just 0,1 in computers) we might see a massive increase in storage as well. Doesn't seem like that will happen till we start using Quantum computers.

I have a feeling we'll be moving away from them, towards smaller, and faster SSD's. Since we can store the masses of our data online, we'll have the essentials at the blazing speed of SSD's :p
