    Why can't i find my NVIDIA graphics card?

    I cant install new drivers or open the NVIDIA control panel. I have tried to go to device manager but it says that i only have intel graphics card. My model is Alienware m14x. Any help is appreciated.

    After installing the Intel graphics driver try to switch to the nVIDIA card using the Fn+F7 key combination.
    This assuming you've already installed the OSD software.

    what nvidia card have you got in your m14x and which nvidia driver did you try to load.
    also i take it you can see the nvidia control panel in your main control panel.
    if so it sounds like you have a corrupt driver. you might need to do a manual driver install.

    when you tell us which card and driver you tried to load i will walk you through a manual install.

    new m14x? chances are if you tried to install new drivers, your pc didn't recognize them becuase there hasn't been an official release of the 700m gtx series gpus yet.

    as op didnt mention what gpu or driver i didnt think of the 7** gpu's.

    if it is a 7** gpu do a system restore as its the only way you will get a OEM compatable driver until nvidia release one to the general public.
