    I recently downloaded dream match tennis on my laptop but it runs extremely slowly making the game impossible to play. My laptop specifications exceed the game requirements and are as follow:

    Windows Vista
    1GB RAM
    Intel Celeron Processor
    Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset family graphic card.

    Many Thanks for your help.

    But the game only requires 128 MB RAM so RAM should not really be an issue I don't think.

    If the game only requires 128mb ram, it sounds fairly old. It might have a compatibility issue with Vista, try running it in Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode.

    Right click on the program's shortcut, click properties, click the Compatibility tab, check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and then choose "Windows XP SP2" from the drop down, and see if that helps your game run better.

    It requires 128 MB of VRAM, but since you have the an integrated graphics card, it is kinda your system ram too. Although, the graphics card share the same bus as the system so it is really slow. I think with that spec, you should downgrade to XP, not because Vista is crappy, because your system specs fits XP better, or Vice Versa, which equals a better gaming performance.

    In addition, you have to understand that Integrated Graphic is not made for gaming, so most of the time the games are going to lag regardless.

    Windows Vista is a resources hog.

    Make sure,

    RAM = 2GB at least
    Processor = Dual core, Core 2 Duo or above
    Graphic = Intel Accelerator(get a better 1 like X3100), ATI/Nvidia(recommended)
    HDD = at least 160GB

    Even your game required only 128MB of RAM. But vista consume too much of the RAM. Your computer runs out of RAM. Thus, the game is cranky.
    Windows Vista approximately consume nearly 1 GB of RAM.
