Windows Experience Report shows directx 10 and dxdiag shows directx 11.

As well, when I go to the website Can You Run it and try something like Age of Empires 3 or bioshock, which I can easily run, it shows that my graphics card don't meet the minimum requirements.

It says my graphics card has no 3D and no T&L.

DirectX 11 is what is installed with Windows. DirectX 10 is what your graphics chip's hardware supports.

Does your machine have an Intel graphics chip with switching (either manually or with NVIDIA Optimus)? If the Can You Run It site is reading data from the Intel GPU, that would explain why you're getting that error. As long as your games are working correctly, there's nothing to worry about.

It's because your GPU can only use DX10.

When it says you don't need the minimum requirements it's because most of the time notebook hardware is not officially supported (even if it may work).

    Edit: lol, saturnotaku was faster

    ok thanks.

Yes my laptop Samsung SF 510 has switachble graphics card with an intel onboard card.

But the thing is: "Can you read it" is reading and detect the geforce 310m but it claims this graphics card does not have 3d or t&l.

I just find that "can you run it" is a pretty simple tool and i dont have to look up the hundreds of graphics cards to make sure my card is meets the requirements.

See svl7's post about the reason why the Can You Run It tool probably isn't working correctly.

Your graphics card doesn't meet the requirements for Bioshock. Nvidia's desktop 6600 is way faster than the 310M.
