"And now nobody plays shooters the way they used to play them before Halo ’cause nobody wants to.” - rofl, are they really that stupid?

That's ok, Bungie hasn't put out an interesting game since the original Halo.

Wow you think Bungie is out of touch with reality? They have been regurgitation the same garbage Halo game for years, and only one of them was mediocre. Who cares if their next "Space Marine" game isn't on PC, what's this one called, "Not Halo: We Swear"?

I have a feeling it will come to PC, if not at launch then soon thereafter. Activision, despite a lot of other faults, has done well at bringing games to PC.

honestly, who cares about their games ?
Even Halo was lacking so much : level design ( library olol ) was just totally horrible, ugly game. It was a backstep regarding fps.

We are really better of their games.

It's disingenuous to say Halo: CE was not a good game. It sold well for a reason. It was the Goldeneye (definitive console shooter) of the PS2/GCN/Xbox generation. I do agree that many of the later games were not as good.

The reason is because they are contractually obligated to do so.

    Bungie-Activision contract - Documents

They were hired by Activision to develop these specific games for Xbox360, Xbox720 and the PS4. I would imagine Activision is receiving significant co-op advertising funds from MS and Sony.

Selling well is literally the worst indicator of quality - look at call of duty.

That said, Halo 1 was definitely a great game, but Bungie are made out to be 'unbelievable innovators' - TBH the 'innovation' in Halo couldn't hold a candle to the innovation in other FPS's such as by iD, Sierra/Valve, Crytek, Dice, Digital Extreme...

Destiny seems to be a very interesting concept though. They are PLANNING for the game to last for ~10 years or something ridiculous. Unbelievably ambitious. Trying to recreate WoW for the consoles I guess.

Turns out it's not true anyway, apparently PC is getting Destiny game #2. Love the generic naming structure used in the document, makes perfect sense for the kings of generic bland.

Destiny set for Xbox 720, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2014

Found the link on Reddit, thought I would post it here for anyone that might be looking forward to this.

I have given up on Bungie actually making something that someone will actually play after Halo.
