    Hi Guys,
With different tricks is possible to run old games with wide resolutions (ie. 128x768). Most of the time you just have to change the resolution in an INI file, but often, you also have to modify the FOV. What does that mean? What is the FOV and how can I know what is the one suited for my widescreen?
    Thanks for the help.

FOV stands for field of view. Think of it this way, a game that has a field of view of 90 means that you can see 80 degrees at a time. By raising the field of view it lets you see more but distorts the image in order to get all those degrees of viewing into a flat screen. Some people refer too it as the fish eye effect. Turning up your FOV allows you to see more to your sides and was popular in games like Quake and TFC because it gave you an advantage by making it harder to sneak up on you from the side, and by sneak I mean spew rockets and chaingun bullets ad infinitum.
