dragoneye1589 had given a link that confirmed the wii remote to be compatible on some of the bluetooth cards. here is the link.

The wii and the ps3 both use bluetooth, and for you to use the 360 controllers you have to buy a microsoft receiver for your computer. To get the wiimotes running on your computer you have to use cracked drivers, I know of some working drivers for the wii, but I havent heard of any drivers for the ps3 controllers. That doesn't mean they don't exist or couldn't exist though.

I tried connecting one of them to an Imac. Didn't work.

they're not going to connect if you dont have any drivers for them.

I was checking to see if it was a HID device or not.
Will Bluetooth PS3 Pad work with my laptop?
