This is probably a super stupid question but I want to be able to play Age of Empires III (I got hooked on it when I spent a week with a friend that has it :D ). However I have a very, very, very limited budget! So, I've been looking at Compaq, specifically the v5000z. I think it can play the game, although I'm a little concerned about the RAM and the graphics card.

    Specs:
    XP Home
    Mobile AMD Sempron(TM) 3100+ (1.8GHz/256KB)
    15.4" WXGA Widescreen (1280x800)
    128MB ATI RADEON(R) XPRESS 200M w/Hypermemory(TM)
    512MB DDR SDRAM (2x256MB)
60 GB 4200 RPM Hard Drive

So my question is first of all, can this thing even play AOE3? And secondly, with everything on lowest settings is it going to be super annoying to try to play?

I am not a gamer (obviously) but AOE3 got me! Thanks a lot for your help!!

Should run it just fine, I believe. I think that game runs on a GMA 950, so it should run on that Xpress.
