Hey.
Really been reading a lot about Fallout 3, and since its just a couple of days away from launch, I wanted to know how will it fare on my laptop?
See sig for details.
Also, what about Dead Space?

Those games will take up a lot of space, so be warned. But, they will definitely be able to play. If you put everything on low, you probably can get 25-30fps. So, you can probably play them at medium with a decent 15-20fps.
-
I'm not worried about the space, that I can manage somehow. I just wanna play the game at respectable frame rates and good visual quality.
-
At low settings you should be able to play just fine. Might need to lower your resolution, though.
-
I suggest putting the res on max and starting with everything else on complete low. Then, go up as you wish until you get a nice balance of quality and fps/

Depends on Res.
And XAA also XAF
And mostly likely view distance. -
OP: if Oblivion ran OK on your machine F3 will too. -
Oblivion ran great, almost every setting full and AA off.
What about this? -
fallout 3 has higher requirements than oblivion.my comp can run oblivion but not fallout. your computer should be able to run it on med-low
-
well, lets hope it comes optimised and satisfy all the gamers around the world
-
Thund3rball I dont know, I'm guessing
Dead Space should run fairly well. Performance wise it runs like Doom 3, Quake 4 and HL2. Pretty sweet for a new game.
-
i'm getting that one tomorrow, i hope its not a let down Graphically.

Fallout 3 is the one I wanna play really badly, just read through the 6 page IGN Review and all I can say is OMFG!!

^^ Agreed. I am skipping FC 2 after i finish Dead Space and going for Fallout 3. That game should last me till Christmas at least lol.
-
-
FYI: Im thinking of going for Bully, low requirements and a good game.

Then I play them till the rest drop in price, or I go back to my faves, or go way back and buy really old games.
Only new release games I bought last year for full new release retail were Crysis, Orange Box and Bioshock. I still have not played COD 4 because I don't do MP and $50 is not worth the SP imo.
Will Fallout 3 run on my laptop?
