I'm really pissed off of the bottle necking that my 8600M GT is causing in my laptop. If ever, will I be able to send it back to Dell for an upgrade?

Is there any other way to upgrade an integrated GPU for that matter?

    no & no.

dell wants you to buy another laptop if you think your current one isn't performing as well as you want it.

Please read the big sticky for graphics card at the top of this forum regarding upgrading graphics card. For integrated cards the answer is a flat-out NO!

If Dell ever releases an Inspiron refresh with a better graphics card than the 8600GT you will then be eligible for an after-market "upgrade" which may require a new motherboard and definitely a lot of cash for the spare part required.

There is very little chance of your graphics card being upgradeable, even if it is modular/removable.
As noted, there is a sticky for this, check the index sticky at the top of the forum. Closed.
