Sony FE790 has only 128MB of video memory, and vista requires 256MB of dedicated memory....
Isn't 7600 enough for Vista, even with 128MB of dedicated memory???
Considering RAM is 2GB and processor is 2.0 Duo2Core...

First of all, WindowsVista does not require 256M of dedicated memory.
Even a pc with intel GMA950 qualifies as a vista premium ready PC on the the microsoft's site.

Without a doubt, yes.
I have a Go 7400 dedicated card and Vista is a breeze.
Also have 2 Gigs or DDR2 SD Ram and an Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 (2.0 GHZ) -
it depend on what kind of resolution you have.

I agree with everone else. Windows is meant to be an operating system, albeit one with many problems, but an operating system none the less. Its not designed to put huge stress on the video card. My friend has a computer with some random SiS video card and he runs Beat windows just fine.
I'm not sure it its that helpful but you can try out your computer in vista graphics if you get the vista transformation pack. Go to www.msn.com and search "vista transformation pack."
This is one of the rare times that MSN actually works better than google. -
yes with ease and great aplomb....

Will Go7600 with 128MB memory be able to handle Vista Premium???
