The title says is all, I dont even play it yet and I currently only play warcraft 3 which I am pretty sure the HD 3000 will. I plan on starting to play starcraft 2 soon and only need it to play on low settings, but be able to handle online play and not stutter

Remember Starcraft II is very dynamic one game may have you @ 90fps and the next @ 9 just depending on what is going on.

True, it'll depend on the CPU quite a bit too....

It will handle SC2 perfectly on low.
Depending on other hardware but in general it will. MBP13 does for example.

You should be able to play SC2 on low settings with the Intel HD 3000.

I get around 10-30FPS with my 1st gen Core i3/Intel GMA HD laptop at a native resolution of 1366x768. However, I hate playing Starcraft 2 on low settings because it starts to look like the first Starcraft game. Also, when there are too many units on the screen; the game really starts to stutter/freeze and it gets really annoying. The Intel HD 3000; however, should be more powerful than the previous Intel GMA HD. So I can't really comment on its performance in SC2.

If you can afford a laptop with a decent, discrete video card then I would highly recommend that you go that route.

I guess intel has been so prompt to advertising their HD 3000 as capable of playing Starcraft II - at least with modest graphic settings - that if it's not you might consider suing them :D
