I’m getting my son a laptop.

But I was thinking I could perhaps play some games on it whilst I’m waiting to buy my 30 series gaming laptop at some point in the future.

Now all I’m looking at really is they have reasonably decent processors and have 8GB RAM.

ALL I WANT TO KNOW IS — CAN THEY RUN....? COMPANY OF HEROES AND MOW

If they can run those smoothly — happy days. If not, then forget it, I’ll look to buy an even cheaper laptop! Since I won’t need it for anything but the simplest web surfing and school work.

I just want to make sure my thread is not blacklisted ....

I don’t necessarily need advice about which laptop hence did not post in the other thread — is more I just want to know roughly whether I can run those two games on these laptops that I’ve included with spec.

    Thanks

You're asking if a game that recommended a Pentium IV will run on a 2020 machine?

    Yeah', at 1000fps probably.

I played Dawn of War on year 2005 integrated graphics.

Yeah sorry am about of a noob!

Some of those picks don’t have dedicated graphics card??

I’m inclined to go for the HP laptop then — looks the best components for the money...

Just a little ribbing, don't sweat it.

The HP is definitely the best buy of those you posted.

I played competitive online W40K: DOW at 1280x1024 on an Intel GMA 950 and whatever pos dual core was out around then.

Definitely pick it up. Enjoy the tale of the Blood Ravens and the legendary Gabriel Angelos.

Dawn of War is my favorite RTS series, up until DOW3.

    Also question //

    I’ve seen another HP laptop

HP 15s-eq0031na 15.6 Inch Full HD Laptop - (White) (AMD Ryzen 5 3450U, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, Windows 10 Home)

exactly the same price. Bigger screen.
The only concern is it’s Ryzen 5 3450U
as opposed to Ryzen 5 4500U. Assuming the 4500 is faster?

is that gonna make a huge difference?
