    I am about to purchase a Sony Vaio VGN-FZ290 with the following specs and wonder if Civ IV will work, and if it will run fluidly. Thanks a lot for any help, I'm clueless with computers

    Yeah it'll run fine, it runs great on my Vaio with a Pentium M and a Go 6400

    You can run it easliy on high settings - even the Gigantic maps with all available comp players :)
