Will speed hacks cause your laptop to overheat, and burn the mother board or graphics card?![]()

Yes. So stay away from it/them.
Note that I'm lying. Or kidding. But I tell you, I hate those cheaters. I mean it's not like other players can't do it too, it's just that they are trying to have fun playing those games without cheating. Why can't those speed hackers just get together and frag each other.. -
no. but you could get banned from playing the game again (online), so don't do it anyway.
-
Why is the (self)righteous, self-proclaimed champion of integrity, anti-fraud, anti-piracy, and internet morality asking for advice about bots and hacking online games?
-
AND if anti-violent video game advocates play violent video games with the intention of ruining the mainstream gamers' enjoyment, will there be less mainstream gamers worldwide?
PS I am not saying I use speed hacks and/or aimbot. Ever heard of a question? -
Speedhacks/aimbots etc are frequently piggy-backed with virii and trojans, but I think you already know that
-
-
And also yes they can break your computer. Most of the things that are morally wrong often come with viruses and malware etc etc. I guess the hackers assume if you are trying to cheat then you deserve it?
Things like cracked software, illegal copies of movies/music, cheats for games, etc are notorious for coming with viruses, spyware, and other malicious software.
Think about it, the people making and distributing hacks/cheats are not exactly reliable trustworthy people. So why trust them with your computer by installing software that they made? -
The question is if cheating in games you legally buy moral? For instance people buy multiple copies of Counter-Strike because they have received multiple bans in Counter-Strike. How is cheating in Counter-Strike illegal? Is it? -
You can't be a proponent of ends justifying the means and still define your entire system of values based on only the current set of laws as absolute morality at the same time.Since you're obviously the latter, I don't think you can make a very convincing argument for the former.

Violent video games are IMMORAL!
-
-
It's definitely immoral because millions of other people also bought the software, and want to play the game. Cheaters ruin the game for everyone else on the server at the time.
Anyway, I think you are missing my point. The people that code and distribute hacks and cheats are not the most trustworthy people in the world. And when you install these hacks you are basically giving them free reign of your system to install what they want.
Do so at your own risk. -
I would think it would be a respect to persons under the Kantian view. Also, if I caught you cheating on my server, you are banned...
-
I don't think buying faster internet speed is illegal. Cable is much faster than dial up...
-
Is this guy a troll or just another noob?
-

I think that if an individual pays for a game then they have the right to use it however they see fit, if this means reverse engineering it and writing a wallhack that hooks some DLL to give you clear walls then so be it. This feeling ends with people that go onto hack web sites, download superpwnhax v 1.5, and proceed to foul up public servers.
If they write it themselves, then their just winning in a creative way imo.
(puts on flame suit and sits back to watch the fireworks.) -
People are still paying for public CS servers, they spend time maintaining them, and they consider cheaters to be messing it up. So if they are paying for their servers, and spending their time keeping them up, what right do you have to go in and mess it up?
And you do not own software when you buy it. Most of the time you are buying a license to use the software, and you are legally bound to the EULA when you install the program. And as I said a lot of software makers forbid the decompilation, and reverse engineering of their code. -
-
Henry you're a really funny troll hahaha
-
Though this wasn't meant to be an ethics thread (or so I hope), the sheer risk of viruses and possible hacks should answer your question. I also must disagree with you in that violent video games are immoral.
-
When I hear the word "aimbot" I reach for my revolver.
-
If you want to hack or use program assisted aiming for online games, then do so in the single player mode. No one cares if you cheat yourself, but people pay their money and spend their time to play a game with set boundries and rules. The amount of practise and dedication that goes into game playing is not to see who can cheat the best. It is to see who can become the best with whatever rules that are set. And as some others have pointed out, the games do not belong to you, they all belong to the companies that hold the property and Intelligence rights. And further more, the games onlines servers are not your own and they do not want your cheats in there.
If you really must cheat, then create your own server or your own game. Go play with the other children that are incapable or playing a game correctly or lack the Intelligence to do so. -
why dont you play wow, and use hax..i would love to see your question get answered that way.
oh and BTW..i have never heard of a legit player getting his/her steam ID banned....ive only ever heard of that situation for people who are hacking.
i perma ban people like you who "test their luck with hax"
unless you like ruining the fun of other legit players.
edit: im not making sense...just worked a 12 hour day in the sun with no breaks...ill make sense of this rambling later on. -
Anyway, go ahead and try it. I'll laugh when your motherboard goes crazy kills you with the electric shock. -
Sneaky_Chopsticks Notebook Deity
Avoid using those, specially with EA, they'll wipe your stats and ban you online.

I wonder why trolls tend to speak incoherently. Hmm...
Wait, this "HenryMan2008" wants to ruin the fun of people playing online. That makes him or her as big of a loser as those wackos that slash SUV tires. -
I think the relevant points and more have been covered in this thread.
