I have an Hp dv2000t with nvidia 7200 graphics card. I am thinking of purchasing a large external monitor, and am wondering if the card will support the 1680 x 1050 resolution without any issues?

    Thank you

Yes. VGA can support resolutions much larger than WSXGA+.

The physical size of the screen doesn't matter; the resolution does however. The Go7200 is more than capable of supporting WSXGA+ through VGA as night_2004 said.
