Yep to all of the above!

the 7900gs is a great card. The one thing you may want to do is upgrade the memory to 2 GB if you find some performance lacking.

Probably not. You can easily find out by removing the panel on the bottom of the notebook. Check out www.newegg.com if you are in the US and in the market. Dell usually includes 2x512 MB sticks to save money.

Yup...the 7900GS is one of the most powerful cards available. It'll be a beauty for you.

I'm almost positive Dell with do the 2x512MB and they won't negotiate on that. It might be cheaper to just get the 2GB to start with.

If you are still looking, also consider getting a Core 2 Duo chip, there is little reason not to at this point.

I wouldn't think you would need 2 gigs of ram to play any of those games without any hiccups. The battlefields may give you one or two every once in awhile, only because they are ram hungry, but the power of that GPU will help compensate for that in game. If you were to upgrade anything, I would upgrade the core duo to a low end Core 2 Duo so that you will be 64-bit compatible, and ready to tackle anything that Vista throws at you. Ram can ALWAYS be upgraded at a later time, often for a lower price.

    *Edit*
Also be sure to be on the lookout for Dell's coupons. They can drastically lower prices of the configured models, some coupons go up to a %30 discount.

No, it appears you currently have two 512MB RAM chips running in dual channel mode, which means you do not have any empty RAM slots.

You won't have any problems with these games. If upgrade prices aren't a big concern I'd recommend the following upgrades (from most important to least)

    1) Upgrade the processor to at least a T5500/T5600. Personally I'd prefer a T7200, but only do so if you don't mind paying more for a little extra power.
    2) Upgrade the RAM to 1 GB minimum, 2 GB preferred. Dell's RAM upgrades can be pricey though so you may want to consider a self-upgrade later.
    3) Consider an upgrade of the HD to a 7200 RPM model. It will give you faster load/seek times. This is the least important of the three.

No, they will use both slots.

Disreguard the "CPU not efficient" if that comes up. This site doesn't account for multicore pc's.

I'm pretty sure everyone of those should run pretty good on that system.
