Hello, just wanted to post my experience with my new HP with a 6150go. I got this laptop on boxing day at a really cheap price, but im a hardcore gamer and a 6150 just didnt look like it was going to be able to do anything. Well with a tiny overclock of my fsb from 200mhz to 242mhz i was able to push my bf2 settings from all low to medium settings. It looks great and runs at 30fps average, no lower than 26 with only 1gb of ram. Now if i was to get 2gb would my fps increase and would I be able to push the settings higher? Just wanted to know, i know that with 2gb of ram it would load faster and what not, but really i need higher settings and more fps!!!!

Is this an x2? With 2 gb ram you go into dual channel.

Ya you have the worlds fastest integrated graphics for what it matters, x2 with 6150

2gb ram makes a difference for most games bf2 especially.

but is it with an x2? That should be the fastest integrated graphics because the memory interface is so fast.

i mean neither of them is fast they are 0, its the cpu rendering. the x2 is going to go faster than a c2d or anything because the memory bandwidth is like 1200 or something something like twice the speed.

An extra GB of RAM would definitely help. The go 6150, however, will still be your bottleneck.

That's an excellent deal you got on that machine, in Canadian currency no less.

When you play games on it, is your hard drive activity light blinking frequently or on constantly? If it is, then that's an indication that you are out of physical RAM and Windows is using the Page File for RAM. You should get more RAM in that case, or close down some background applications to free up some RAM.
