Computer noob here,
I typed DXDIAG and found this.
On the SYSTEM tab I have an ,
i7-2670QM CPU@2,20gh(8CPUs),MEMORY=16GB,OS=Windows 7 Premium bit
On the display tab I have NVIDIA Geforce GTX 560M, DAC TYPE: Intergrated RAMDAC, Approx total memory 4047MB Current display mode 1366x768(32bit)(60HZ)
Oh and 2 additional questions,
1. Everytime I check DXDIAG something appears and says |"DIRECTX DIAGNOSTIC TOOL"-DxDiag has detected that there might have been a problem accessing the system information the last time the sustem was used, would you like to bypass the system information this time?" - I press yes it keeps coming back, if no, what happens?
2.Why is m current display mode 1366x768 32 bit only when I have windows 7premium which is 64 bit?

Yes you can run Diablo on high settings [maxed? probably].
I have no idea regarding the dxdiag issue.
As for the 32-bit color vs 64-bit OS; the only thing they have in common is that they both contain the word "bit". Your color is 32-bit, and your Windows is 64 bit; they're not connected in any way.

Kingpinzero ROUND ONE,FIGHT! You Win!
However i think you could be able to pull off a respectable 40fps at native res with high settings.
Problem is that you have a crippled gtx 560m, which isnt powerful at all. Sometimes even the cheaper GT 555m can kick his .
1. nothing at all, dont bother. Also DXDIAG isnt useful at all, except for checking system components. You can use Gpu-z for all your card infos, or GPU Caps Viewer, or HWinfo...or sysinfo.
2. lol. 32bit is the color depth not the operating system architecture. Theres 8-16-24 and 32bit of color. Its the highest, youre fine as it is. -
@alexUW thanks i really appreciate it
@Kingpinzero My video card is weak? what about battlefield 3 can i run that? -
Kingpinzero ROUND ONE,FIGHT! You Win!
I think you can, besides ive already replied to this question in your first post.
At native res, you can play it a low-medium settings at best, if you dont plan to overclock it.
But as i adviced, start with medium settings in a big server (such 64 man server on Caspian border) and see how much fps you get. If those are comfy, up the settings a bit. -
thanks, anyway, how do I overclock my laptop? overclocking means pushing your laptop performance to another level right?

Yep
You can overclock your GPU using Nvidia Inspector or MSI Afterburner.
If you plan to use the latter, is pretty straight forward.
Be sure your gpu drivers are up to date from geforce.com website; if they are, install and launch MSI AB.
You will see two sliders, one is vram clock (bottom) another one is shader core clock (upper one) in the middle should be shader domain clock which cant be modded, as clock and shaders are locked togheter.
From that point, i advice doing 50mhz increase on both VRAM and Core clock to see if you can game on it just fine.
When you will see a driver crash, thats your limit, you need to step back.
Usually the crippled 560m such yours can go easily to 900mhz on core and 200mhz more on vram (i forgot the clocks right now).
Before you ask, overclock doesnt causes troubles to your GPU, when its unstable it will either crash or bsod.
Either way youll be back to normal once it has recovered, so dont have fear to do it.
If you never attempted an overclock tho, take your time to google a bit and read some tutorials around.
Its pretty straight forward and easy to do, and yes basically its a "free" perfomance boost.
Will my AsusG53sx be able to run Diablo 3 at highest settings?
