    Just curious what your guys' opinions are running SCII with these specs:

    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7500 @ 2.20GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.2GHz

    Memory: 3072MB RAM

    Available OS Memory: 3070MB RAM

    DirectX Version: DirectX 11

    Graphics Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT

    * Display Memory: 1523 MB
    * Dedicated Memory: 243 MB
    * Shared Memory: 1279 MB

    Yes you can play it. I would say probably med settings would get you 20-25 fps with that system.

    That thread is for both actually, since there is no real reason for it to only apply to one type of people. But to answer your question, since SC is an RTS game, 20-25 should be fine as a normal casual player.

    I understand what the minimum and recommended requirements are to to run SCII. I'm curious how you all think it will run.

    it'll run it a little bit better than my laptop with 2ghz t7200 and a geforce go 7700 and 2 gigs of ram did.

    meaning low will be fine. Medium shaders, low most other things and some modifying of the variables.txt may work well too.
