I'm buying a notebook for mild gaming and have 2 same-price options:

    TOSHIBA
    Pentium 4 Hyper-Threading 3.06GHz 533mhz FSBus
    512MB
    1MB L2 cache
    64mb (shared) Radeon 7000 IGP

    -OR-

    COMPAQ
AMD Athlon XP-M 3000+ Quantispeed 1.6GHz up to 1600MHz bus
    512MB
    256k L2 cache
    32mb (dedicated) GeForce 4 420 Go

Everything else is pretty much the same except the Compaq/Athlon has a BrightView widescreen and a larger hard-drive.

The games that I hope to play are:
    NEVERWINTER NIGHTS
    WARCRAFT III
COUNTERSTRIKE: CONDITION ZERO (NOT CS:Source, of course)
(And hopefully other, "older" 1st person shooters, like Ghost Recon 1 maybe, if they would run OK. That genre is my favorite, but the most processor intensive, so I know my options are limited.)

Someone with notebook gaming experience please tell me if either of those systems described above will run these games ENJOYABLY. I don't need LIQUID smooth frame rates or super high resolutions, but flowing gameplay and animations at moderate detail levels are essential to me. Choppiness and stuttering kind of ruins the experience and fun.

Thank you very much for whatever help and advice you can give!
