    Will this laptop run Crysis well?

    I just bought a new Mabook Pro specs are as follows:

    15" monitor 1440 X 900 resolution
    2.6 ghz peryin processor
    4 gigs ram
    512 mb 8600m GT video card
    200gig 7200rpm HD

    I am thinking about getting crysis since i have read good reviews but in most reviews it says it is a system hog.

    I will be running it under bootcamp windows vista ultimate.

    I dont care if the graphics ae all maxed but I dont want them to be all crappy either...

    anyone know how it will run...and if it would be worth getting?

    at 1024x768 you can do medium quite good probably, with some high mixed in

    im hoping to run it in the native 1440 X 900 on medium/high. Sounds like that may be possible we'll see.

    highly doubt you will run medium to high on 1440 by 900 with that GPU. I have a 2.5ghz penryn 8800GTX m15x and struggle to keep 30FPS on medium high.

    ahh well medium cant be that bad...so long as I dont have to run it on low hehe.

    I wouldn't think it's the CPU that is going to hold him back more than the video card. I think medium would be fine though.
