Will the m9700 alienware laptop I just ordered (Will be here on the 8th, maybe earlier) maxed out beable to play all the games like FEAR, Oblivion, Quake 4, Graw, ect... and the new games coming out for vista and stuff on max? 1440x1090 res or whatever it is.
The laptop has everything: 2.4ghz turion, 2gig ram, dual 7900 GS's... and so on.

I don't know, what do you think?
Honestly, I see too many of these threads around, "Hey, my computer costs $2000 and upgraded to the max specs! Can I play games?"
Obviously, if its the latest technology, what can't it play? I would think you would have enough knowledge to know, you've probably done your research well.
Okayyyy, show off more please. -

I'm not showing off but the reviews online change from one site to another so much it's hard to tell. I realize they would beable to play stuff probably maxed but are there going to be problems with the cpu being slow for future games and stuff? Some of the stuff I've heard is saying I'll only get 35fps average with this computer.

It must be nice to be able to drop thousands of dollars on a computer and not even know what is capable of doing.
I wish I had that kind of money.
Seriously though, I agree with cori.
Any computer will age, and eventually will not be able to play current games with the settings maxed out. -
If its brand new then yes, it will obviously play the latest games. Whats sad is you spent so much on a computer and you dont even know what its capable off.

I know all this and I'm not rich. (Parents chunked in a fair amount) I know what the computer can do I'm just wandering if ya'll have an personall experiences or anything. (I phrased this thread bad)

You can probably max out settings on two monitors with decent res..
Will this play?
