    Pretty interesting results, but XP still surpasses both in some tests , which is not surprising at all.
    For a Beta though, W7 is really good.

    Yeah so far I am finding for gaming, that Win 7 and XP are on par. And Vista lags a bit behind, but not by much.

    But you take a nicely ladden down mature XP installation. (you know what I am talking about) And Win 7 does in my tests beat it, now for the real test is to get a nicely ladden down mature Win 7 installation and see if there is a difference.

    Win 7 is definately making a good impression me. Though there are quite a few bugs to work out. 10 bug reports already and thats just for IE 8, and SQL problems.

    yeah I'v heard that IE 8 is terribly buggy even though its been in beta since last year, so i wouldn't blame Win 7.
