    I have the same issue. Aero worked fine in Vista but not so much in Windows 7. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with the issue, but unfortunately I don't have an answer. I guess I'll have to stick with non-aero for now until nvidia figures this out...if they are figuring this out.

    What you guys really expect with how long it took to sort out Vista issues, that the beta of windows 7 would work perfectly with everything?

    I don't know if this is the case, but putting the laptop on High-Performance in Win7's power manager reduces the lag.

    I'm wondering if NVIDIA has let msft control gpu clock speeds now.

    High performance..thats probably why you were experiencing lag. By the way, does anyone know how to make all three power plans show up as an option (versus the 2 choices). It gets very annoying to switch from high perf to power saver

    I ran Balance mode on Vista all the time and had no issue....

    But then again, this is 7.

    And I think only showing 2 power options is just bad programming...

    Check the APPLE EULA and you will want to throw yourself off the first sky scrapper you see.
