Sorry if this is a noobish question. Does Windows 7 work with games like DMC4 and Rainbow Six Vegas 2? Thanks!

Your milage will very, but for the most part yes. I've ran SupCom(occassionally drops the connection on LAN), SupCom: FA, Assasin's Creed, Crysis, World in Conflict, FEAR and StarCraft all without problems, except where noted. I've also ran the demos for DMC4 and X3: TC, both fine as well. Might be forgetting a few but that's all i can think of off the top of my head.

The only games that I ran into problems with were SoldierFront and Gundbound, but this was due to an inability with the launcher not the games themselves.

On a sidenote, all games ran at equal or higher framerates than in Vista.

I would say its safe to assume pretty much any game that worked in Vista will work in Win 7.

My frame rates are lower only due to a driver issue for my crossfire in Win 7, once I get that fixed it should be slightly faster in Win 7 for most games.
