Previously in Vista and on Windows 7 beta, whenever I played a game that either had no widescreen res option (warcraft 3) or had no option for res changes (world of goo) the games would automatically streach themselves out for widescreen. But now, after a clean install to windows 7 RC, this is no longer true. How can I revert it back to before? Thanks.

Normally you would just go to the nvidia control panel, and change the scaling there:

Display - Change flat panel scaling - Use nvidia scaling

But, there is a known bug with the nvidia driver (185.85) and RC1, not sure about older drivers, where users cannot change such settings, including the fresh rate (mine is stuck at 59 hertz). Whenever you change the settings, and click on apply, the settings just revert back to default.

Nothing you can do, unless someone knows some command line fixes.

I tried the nvidia control panel change, and it worked. Thank you very much.

Great, now I just need to figure out what's wrong with my driver.

Also check your monitor. My monitor can do scaling as well. Not sure which is better or less resource intensive, but if one doesn't fix it, try the other.
