Seems as though my video card has been left out of Nvidia's recent drivers supporting Windows 7... am I missing something or just plain out of luck for the time being?
Do I have any options available?
    - Can I get away with installing vista drivers on my rig?
    - Are there any third party drivers available?

My knowledge of graphics drivers and operating systems is limited, so any help is greatly appreciated... thanks!

My Dell laptop has a 7950GTX Go, and Windows 7 had drivers available for it right off Windows Update. They work fine.

those drivers are not the best for gaming... I tried them.

they work but not perfectly stable for all gaming.

Agreed the Windows Update drivers rarely bring in performance benefits. Like Gophn said, Laptopvideo2go.com is the ultimate repository for all performance drivers irrespective of whether you are using XP,Vista or 7.
