So I have a MacBook Pro current generation high end.

I just want to know... virtual-machine wise or ANYTHING, is there anyway to play old Windows 98 Games that won't run on Windows 7? Or am I better off just buying an old Windows 98 PC?

VMware player with a 98 VM will work fine as long as the game doesn't require 3d hardware acceleration. I have a couple of games that will only play in 98, and I'm happy to say they play perfectly. :)
