Guys, I was wandering around yesterday in the computer mall. I was comparing Sony previous FW with Core2Duo P7350/6Gb/400Gb/ATI Radeon 4650 512Mb with Sony new F with Core i5 520M/4Gb/500Gb/nVidia GT 310M 512Mb. I played around to see the Windows Experience Index.. the FW has score of 5.6 for 3D gaming (Vista HP 64-bit), and the new F has score of 6 for 3D gaming (Win7 HP 64-bit). Does this mean the graphic chip in the new F is better?
I read reviews online that 310M GPU is not suitable for gaming but the ATI 4650 is still acceptable. I was wondering why the higher score for the 310M?

Can we please add "Do NOT rely on the Windows Experience Index" as a sticky? Doesn't even have to be a thread, just a general message that pops up any time someone types "WEI" or "Experience Index".
Cause honestly, I've run out of smart*** responses to this question. -
thinkpad knows best Notebook Deity
Please do not rely on the Experience Index.... by any means. I don't know where to start to explain why, but just don't...

Yep, WEI sucks, it think that my 3650 is better than a 9800M GTX. I can't even tell you how wrong that is.
