News is out on gamespot and the witcher community webpage. Here's a sample of things being improved:
1. Inventory auto-sorting
2. Dialogue fixes (Big yay!)
3. Sword-sheathing and drawing animations accelerated.
4. 2 OFFICIAL MODS
5. Better character models and animations.
Still haven't finished the game on all 3 sides yet, not sure I can possibly pull it off in 3 months in time for the patch for current registered owners.

this is a special edition that they re-did due to the community voicing their wants, which is pretty awesome. The content will be downloadable to people who already have the game, however the booklets and CDs that come with the SE are exclusive to that, I imagine. Here's a link to a PDF detailing some information http://www.thewitcher.com/resources/upload/img/news/2008/02/Enhanced Edition fact sheet.pdf

Meh, I don't think I will play it again because of this. Back in Oct/Nov, I was able to look past all of those things and play the game for what it was. I'll be hooked on Mass Effect PC during May anyways. But anyone who hasn't played The Witcher should definitely play it now, they addressed all the issues the community had with the game.
