I'm currently using the driver-based scaling solution that can be accessed via the nVidia Control Panel for games that run at 4:3 so that I don't have to have a 1024 x 768 image stretched on a 1280 x 800 screen.
Currently, I'm using the Stock Dell 101.28 drivers for my 8600M GT, but I'm definitely looking at the 163.75 drivers as they've proven to increase performance by quite a bit (especially with the newer games).
However, I'm not willing to sacrafice my scaling features to upgrade to a newer driver...
Does anyone know whether or not using Modded drivers will screw up or disable the scaling feature?

Scaling works just fine with the LV2G drivers.
I'm a stickler for proper aspect ratios as well, and I know scaling works from personal experience.

all i do is go into the nvidia control panel and do it there.

Sweet, thanks for the feed back, guys.
Time to go update my drivers ^_^.
With Laptop2go Drivers, does nVidia's driver scaling still work?
