Not sure where to post this but i am using a thinkpad X61. I play World of Warcraft on my laptop, but after I re-installed Vista Home premium & SP1, WoW refuses to connect, keeps giving me "unable to connect" error message, strangest thing is I can't even open the world of warcraft U.S. webpage either.![]()
I can open other webpages normally, check mail using outlook, download stuff using BT etc....
So I don't know whats wrong?
For antivirus I am using NOD32 and firewall i am using the default one thats in the OS.
Can anyone help?

Although im not familiar with it, their may be a section in your firewall settings where you can select programs that the firewall will let through, had to do it when i installed Norton.

Try enabling the "run under administrator" option in properties.

Quote from the WoW Support Forum:
"Windows Vista introduces a new feature called “Receive Window Auto-Tuning”, that is used to adjust the windows size continually based upon the changing network conditions. This feature enters in conflict with World of Warcraft connection, and can cause the users not to be able to log in to the game. In order to solve it:
Click on Start Menu, All Programs, and then in Accesories
Then right-click Command Prompt, and choose Run as Administrator
You will be asked for authorization to run the program as an admin, please grant it.
In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:
netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled
Then try to run World of Warcraft again, the problem should be solved by now."
I don't know if this will work but maybe you should try that -
you can always unstall the SP1 and see if that work. Personally,I would wait for the full-realease version of SP1. Who know what will happen in a testing version?
