does anybody else get this tiny bit of microstutter every now and then while mounted? i've noticed this since i got my new laptop the other day but never noticed it before when i still had my P6860fx laptop....
any ideas? everything on ultra, 4x multisample, v-sync off

I know these are obvious, but still gotta ask: do you have the latest catalyst drivers? Are you playing on battery?

I've heard issues with the ATI high end and WoW. Make sure you are running with the latest ATI drivers and Windows Updates.
ATI 10.5 drivers are at ATI Catalyst? Mobility Display Driver
Try the ATI drivers first.
Some people also have issues with Microstutter in Windows 7 with i7 processors. The fix for that is listed on these forums at NBR.

ill try out the 10.5's in the morning. and i've already applied the core i7 fix for windows 7

seems as though the 10.5 drivers fixed the microstutter. i havent noticed it since installing them.
