I have Vista 32-bit and Ive tried 3x to install, with the same error at the end. Some folder could not be created, it had odd symbols GoC or something to that effect, under installgames I believe, and I just can't get it to work.

Try in safeboot.
-
-
yea safeboot is safe mode
-
Nope, same error again, keeps saying some folder could be created.
-
Perhaps the disc is corrupt. Have you tried downloading the game and using that instead?
-
Right click the setup and Run as Adminstrator
-
The only game client I can find is the trial one, and no that doesn't work. -
-
-
The error I get from the trail is "Failed to create files, please try again later" - to that vain.
-
Are you running the installer as an administrator(Right click on the game installer con and Select "Run as Administrator"?
-
The folder "G⒀ɽ" could not be created. (InstallerCreateFolders)
The installation was stopped, but some files may have been left behind on the disk. (InstallerEngine::Install) -
If you have another computer and an external HD, install it on the other comp, put the files on the ext HD and put the files on your laptop.

I just went into the WoW folder and the gamed launched, but im installing the expansion pack now - I don't know if my game will work, but if it doesn't, is there any other way to get it off my desktop to laptop? (the files)
EDIT - Nope, had the expansion downloaded already and it says to install WoW first. -
You can install it on your desktop and then copy the installed directory from desktop to your laptop through an external usb drive (thats if you have one). Thats what I did on my Vostro.
If not, you can also transfer it via the Network -
Voodoo, thats what i said...
