    Hi guyz,

I'm about to buy a 700m and was wondering if anyone was able to play World of Warcraft on it ?

I know it's not a gamer laptop and it's an integrated Video card and it probably sucks, but I need to run WoW fairly good, at minimum settings.

    Any1 knows ?

    Thanks a lot!

Hmm, the 700m has the old 855 chipset and the GPU on that is pretty crappy...

I can't say, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesnt work..

I ran WoW on an Inspiron 1150 and it was okay with the integrated graphics as long as I didn't get too cocky about turning up the settings.

I'm not too sure of WoWs sys requirments. But I don't think the game will run smooth on integrated. I'll have to ask around the dorm.

you CAN run it. But it would be very laggy. I couldnt imagine doing a raid with a 700m.. your eyes would be mush by the end of it

It does run, but it did tend to get laggy in spots. Definitely not something you'd want to be running raids with, no...but it will run.

    Kool.

Thanks guyz, it's exactly what I needed to know ...

I have a gaming dedicated machine so it's not for 24/7 Wowing, but when i'm traveling at mom's or GF house, I need to be a least able to do my arcanite transmute, or lvl my alts !

Of course not planning MC raids on a 12"!

    Laterz!

my brother has a 700M, we went to a friend's house to borrow his wow and we tried it on ours. Not too good, besides the 700m is light weight portable...I think asking it to play wow is a bit too much.

You might want to be careful gaming on a notebook with integrated graphics. I have heard numerous reports of the northbridge overheating - not a good thing. Just a word of advice! ;)
