    Hi all

I am trying to play WoW on my new external monitor. I decided to try make a dual screen setup, and I wanted my external monitor to have WoW running, while windows being still open on my laptop screen. I have managed, however the fps on the monitor (which is the secondary display in the dual screen setup) is very bad (10fps compared to 50fps when I drag the WoW window to the laptop screen).

Could anyone answer me these 2 questions please :
    1) Is there a way to work around this fps loss when playing WoW (or any other game) on a secondary display?
    2) Is there a way to make the LAPTOP screen as secondary display, and the external monitor as the primary display? didnt seem to manage from Display properties, it doesnt let you.

    Cheers all :)

Hi there, I've attempted this too, but at times the background processes are way too much for the notebook to handle.

You can tinker around with your video settings, the Advanced button in the display control panel. You can identify which monitor is the primary one and then switch it around.

    Which OS are you running?

I've noticed that when running WoW in windowed mode results in huge fps-losses, probably due to the fact that Aero is stil running, unlike when running in full-screen mode
