Hey... i was wondering what could be the worst possible graphics card that you could run World of Warcraft on with averaging 30fps in battlegrounds and such.

    Thanks

(I know that it could run on any card... but could it run well on it)

For what you ask, I would say these, but I would recommend more powerful ones.

    Nvidia GeForce Go6200
    ATI Mobility Radeon X300
    Nvidia GeForce Go7200
    Nvidia GeForce Go7300
    ATI Mobility Radeon X1300

Agreed. Those cards should be able to keep it above 30 FPS as long as you dont try to set the graphics to super high or anything like that.

Those arent high end cards, they're all low end cards. WoW isnt very heavy on the system and it doesnt need a high end to run nicely.

And x700 is a performance series video card. It'll run WoW on medium-highish settings pretty smoothly.

The x700 is in the same class as the GeForce 6600. You could also call it the predacessor to the x1600.

No, the X1100 is an integrated graphics card based on the X300, the X700 will flogg it in everything besides battery life.

FYI: My X1400 runs WoW with everything maxed, at 1280x800, and stayed above 30fps even with a few dozen characters on screen. I think you should be alright with an X1300/7300.

On an older x700, with a full 40 man raid on BWL(Just Razorgore, still putting up repair bills so everyone knows fully what to do), at 1400x1050 resolution, maxed everything, still hits above 25, 21 in extreme cases(Mages kiting for the win! :)), but usually stays around 30.

I played WoW up until a few months ago and I bought the X700 as soon as it came out. It still holds its own quite well. 40 man raids i had to turn the settings down a little but still averaged 20+ FPS with 40 men and boss encounters. Hope this helps. :D

    X700 > X1400.

    a 7400 is similar to a X1400.

You'll hardly find a new laptop with a X700, instead, now they have X1600 which is their successor.

I just got wow yesterday, im bored with oblivion. I set it as high as I could, run fine, no graphics slow downs at all on my 7400. Just lag because of my stupid college not having enough bandwidth during the day, works great at 3am though.

Just understand one other important thing about WoW...yeah, it doesn't take much 3D power...you can play it with most any card...but if you want performance, this game is a complete and utter memory hog. I'd make sure you have at least 1gb of ram...preferably 2. You will actually see the difference between 2 gigs and 1 with this game. I dunno why, its just how its coded i guess.
