HaloGod2012 Notebook Virtuoso
you know what kills me about these guides? They say updating the driver should or will fix sli/crossfire. IT WONT! lol
I have been playing on a single gpu with disabled screen reflections and it runs good. Besides that, the game is awesome -

Yep, exactly right. AMD's OpenGL drivers are utter crap, Nvidia's are slightly less crappy.

Ok, I bit. I ordered it. Looking for a decent single player fun shooter since Bulletstorm. This looks like it should fit the bill. Just now between Titanfall, Wolfenstein, Battlefield 4, and Bioshock Infinite is taking up about 160GB! Sheesh.
-
PC Gamer just released their thoughts:
"That said, this is still the most fun I've had with a singleplayer shooter since Bulletstorm, and the most substantially well-realised setting for a shooter campaign since Metro 2033. Its writing, music and environmental art all achieve far more than you might expect from the game about a preternaturally durable testicle with a revenge fetish and a gun in each hand. In a genre that is often overtaken by derivative or exploitative games, it's a pleasant surprise—a reminder of a time when a shooter's singleplayer campaign was the main event. A time when these games were made with attention to detail, care, and a bit of love."

Wolfenstein: The New Order review | PC Gamer -
It's well over-hyped by reviewers as usual (metacritic is your one stop place for reviews) but realistically the engine is dated.
I am going with watchdogs. -

Hmm, so far not liking it too much. It's all about "do this sequence just right to pass or try again until you get it perfect". Plus combo things like run and slide are W+Shift+Ctrl... hmm
-
So typical first person shootup? -

Welcome to AMD!
*Remembers Rage launch AMD driver debacle* -
Still loving it, as you play you'll run across more levels with several ways to do things. I go for stealth usually sneaking around until it all falls apart, then its on like donkey kong guns blazing. Ultimately though we are still talking the Wolfenstein series here that all started in an 8 level keep. -
Going to boot into Windows in a little bit and download the game.

After the Tutorial chapter the game runs buttersmooth on GT650m (1GB DDR5) 720p, medium. Just finished the game. Now waiting for the sequel...

Wolfenstein: The New Order â Possible Performance Boost Discovered | DSOGaming | The Dark Side Of Gaming
anybody tryied that???can anyone confirm that its working? -
-
Hopefully the new AMD 14.6 drivers will improve performance on Radeon GPUs in this game as well.
-
-
I was going to say, I don't have any performance issues, so not even going to bother. Running smooth so far.

-
Of course, just like Watch_Dogs.

I just installed this. Planning on playing it tonight to see how it runs! Been excited about this one.

it's the same engine as rage so it'll cap to 60fps or try and reach it.

Have finished the game now two times and now going head on with the 999 mode. With nvidia the game runs nice at max settings. Only Odd thing is ...might be a bug or a texture problem that some items and char. texture have a shine or a light deflection. Peoples faces reflect light or make it looks like the person has had his/her skin chrome plated.
Also some walls (inside buildings) from a distance seem to have a greenish texture...just faint. And yes my GPU.-s are OK. No artifacts
Other then the things mentioned and low /high texture mash-up, copy paste dialog and personality with Fergus and Wyatt ( I cant be the only one who thinks this ), knife to the rear end instant kills, no-cliping on the train station level in vents and under the platform, etc .......it was a good game
Just need to find a few more enigma codes. -
Wow. I'm probably not even half way through the game yet.
-
I'm a big fan of FPS and prefer Single player over Multi player . This game is awesome so far . Wish there were more games like this out there .

Yeah been playing this bad boy for a couple hours and it's awesome! The R9 was chugging along at Ultra settings but would dip below 30 fps so I'm playing on high. Still looks pretty great and smooth as butta!!
